I left a post on info on a "pelton" engine that was anwsered with a great response and picture. (it was not mine but close). I have started to disasemble it,the piston is stuck, (I know, normal) and have looked at a few pictures of others. Is there a guide, or manual of how and what is needed to get these types of engines running? Spark, gas, cooling, etc. Thanks, Mark |

The closest thing to a "guide" is probably the Palmer Gas Engine Handbook, it is about Palmer engines, but the information is relevant to all the early 2 and 4 cycle engines. There is also Stay Grayson's book Old Marine Engines, which is not a manual... but it does contain some technical information as well as historical information. |
