I have a ZR2 ser# 2681529 does anyone know when built and maybe some history. I have a mag but would like to come up with a timer if anyone knows where to find one |

It is a 1929 the last 2 digits of the S/N tell that. You can do a search for Palmer and Palmer ZR on this discussion board using the search above. You will get many hits to your search. There are manuals for sale here as well. Dick... A ZR timer? Hope this helps Ernie |

A couple of points to remember. The ZR-2 rotates counter clockwise facing the flywheel. The timer for a 2 cylinder four stroke engine with the cranks at 180 degrees fires at 90 degrees. I probably can find a useable Cuno timer. Send me an e-mail. |

I am quite sure I have a 4 cylinder timer that would work. Just use 2 of the contacts. If Dick doesn't have one I will make sure I still have this one. Let me know Ernie |
