Hello All, I'm on the track of Invincible history in OZ. However I'm very interested in their operations in San Francisco and Chicago, there may be other U.S. locations. Any information would be most appreciated These companies may not have been called Invincible in the States. However they may have had the following people as principals. 1)W. Boehm or any other Boehm 2)Kenneth F. Long 3)H. Kinnune. The dates start at 1915 an continue until the 50's. These people were mentioned in correspondence from 1939. As well I've come across the following envelope from Invincible of Sydney to New York. The contents are unknown. This is from a later date,1946. Does anybody know what Autoquip did? Thanks in advance Mark S. |

Mark S. I will need to do some checking but it seems 495 St Paul St in Rochester was the home of Brownell- Trebert engine Company who specialized in auto and marine engines. I'll try to check the city directories next time I'm in Rochester |

Marks, I checked some literature and found Brownell-Trebert engine Company at 407-409 St. Paul-oposite end of the block/. Will check the city directories for Autoquip next trip to Rochester. Posted in June of'46- they most likely were in defense work at the time. |
