have recovered M-27 R crown complete running through to prop 28 ft. chris craft lake boat serial #4939 S need distriutor cap and year of motor as boat has no paper or ID. |

Alfred, It's probably a 1948. M-27's were made from 2/01/47-2/16/49 and the serial numbers ranged from M27-1001 to M27-7372. As for the cap it looks like a 2 piece cap and cover where the wires come out the side. If the distributor is part # IGC-4510-1M it takes a IGC-1123C cap and IGH-30 cover. Try Yesteryear Antique Auto (941) 743-7784 The part was obsolete in my 1963 NAPA book so it is probably pricy. |
