Greetings, I have a Palmer P-60 with raw salt water cooling which has powered my sailboat for many years. I am seriously considering re-powering with electric and wonder if anyone would be interested in buying this P-60? It has provided me with three good sailing seasons but probably needs a rebuild. I have always managed to get it running with tinkering after long periods of no use but am not sure that I can do it again... and frankly just don't want to deal with it. I am based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Drop me a note if you might be interested and I will be happy to answer any questions you may have. The engine currently starts and runs but dies out if I try to accelerate / apply additional fuel under load. It has an alternator/regulator in pristine condition which was bought new in 2005. |

Hi Skip, I would be intrested in your P60. What year is your boat and how much $$$ are you looking for? I'm up in Olympia so I need to keep transport cost in mind. Thanks, Tim |
