This is from a memo from the American Bantam Car Company to its dealers: "The Brennan Motor manufacturing Company of Syracuse, New York make(s) a 20 H.P. marine motor suitable for light run-abouts or fishing boats up to 26 ft. using our 63-000 series Bantam engine as a base. This Marine Conversion has a special Marine clutch and reverse gear, a water jacketed exhaust manifold, a water pump, a flame arrestor, and a special cover for the generator and water pump drive and distributer, ready to install in boat." No date on this, but should be late 1930's. John Stewart |
