Hi out there/hear.
Hope you can help a new STUART fan...fingers crossed.
My P66D, inboard of 19' sail boat, WILL NOT RUN.

It was running greate, before I bought it from a friend, and since.
I got it home, took out engine, gave it a thorough going over, takeing apart,& re-placing where necessary,re wire, etc. stopped short of stripping engine propper.so not effecting timeing.
Put engine back, fired up,and ran sweet as before.

Now, 6 months later no go.Boat has been under good roof cover, protected from the elements.

I have tried:

1)Fresh fuel:50:1 & 55:1 same outboard oil as be fore.
2)Remove float,blow through jets etc,
Solex carb.
3)Plugs are NGK B5HS No1 & B6HS No2,& have good spark.
4)Drain crnk.case of flooded fuel after each attempt.
Throttle,&choke all work ok.Good battery gives good turn over speed, resulting in some exhaust gasses from exhaust pipe, withe occasional back fire,& also occasional spits of exhaust gas from carb.
It just dos'nt fire up, and I don't swear at it....honist.

Any advice would be much appreciated.
