I am building a model of an ex Navy 66 ft. MFV that I first became invoved with as a schoolboy deckhand in 1946. I was later involved in marine engine repair and had quite a bit to do with this and other boats of around the same size. My model is based on old photos and memory. I want to build a mock up of the original Hercules but the memory dosent run to much overall appearence detail so I need some photos. There are excelent photos from all main angles in the instruction book but I lost my copy about 1970. I saw a reference to the engine on this board dated about 2005 and the owner had a book. If he, or anyone else with an instruction manual can scan and e-mail some pages for me, I would be eternally gratefull. I enjoy reading these pages and have worked on and seen many of the engines featured. Especially the English ones. (Australia was very pro English machinery before and for a long time after WW2) |
