Could anyone please comment on the Evinrude picture below. In particular, is it rare to have
a distributor on a two cycle? There seems to be a
gear tying the flywheel rotation to the distributor. What vintage is this inboard?

Your pic didn't come through . Evinrude had their AA model with a distributor , which was a 4 cycle motor but ran on 2 stroke mix 1916 was the year popjpeg{104466,AA evinrude} |
