I have been working with John Baker in Thailand to get a number of Palmer old time head and exhaust gaskets made. I receive a lot of requests for them but I am not in business with John or really in business in any sence to me this is a hobby and I have accumalated a lot of junk Palmer stuff that I try to share with other Palmer engine owners. At the moment John has made excellent head gaskets for me the Model B, C, BH, P-60 and YT. Exhaust manifold gaskets for the ZR with three bolt flange but not the two bolt flange as those engines are so rare. Could do it of course if someone has a pattern. The exhaust gasket for the NR series is the same as the NR intake and ZR intake.
At present I am looking for a used PW-27 head gasket to use as a pattern as there seem to be a number of PW-27 around. I don't have a good enough one to use for a pattern. I am also looking for the PW-27 exhaust/intake gasket to use as a pattern. It is a Wisconsin gasket but they are no longer available from Wisconsin dealers. I think this gasket fit a number of models of Wisconsin including the model AEH.

I have an AHH wisconsin, But if water circulates in the head of a pw 27 i would think you would need some more holes for water to pass. So it might not be the standard gasket. I allso have a service manuel for that series of wisconsin engines if you want to look. |

Thanks Larry I will take you up on the offer but not for a few days. With regard to the exhaust/intake gasket for the Wisconsin there is no water circulated in the manifold. It is the typical air cooled two hole exhaust/intake gasket. Will give you a call when I can get over and maybe we can naildown the correct Wisconsin number. I have a rough drawing that would be close enough but I would rather find a good used one for the pattern. |
