A copy of the specifications says 15 HP Marine Motor Model A-2 Gasoline, kerosene, fuel oil, gas oil I`m not understanding how it could be all of the above and still include fuel oil (diesel) Can someone explain the to me? Thankyou |

Beautiful engine. It looks like the restored 2 cylinder Mianus that was at the Mystic Seaport engine show a few years ago... belonged to "Joe", I'm sure we have pictures of it somewhere. |

This engine was alleged to have came from Maine about 5 years years ago and was buried in a garage since. No sign of restoration. I would like to see pictures of the restored Mianus you mentioned if you can find them. At this point in time I expect to just clean it and study it for a spell. Maybe this spring..... |

This are the two pics of that engine that I have in my files, I'm sure someone here has better photos... and they might be with the Mystic Photos posted elsewhere on this site. I don't recall what year it was...

Thanks for the photos. I can understand a bit more now about what I need to get accomplished to make mine presentable. If I have a chance I will try to track down the owner and maybe pick up some details about water and lubrication plunbing connections. Hope mine will look as nice. |
