* Dick I recieved your email, have been away just got back last night. will reply here, some readers may be interested ! Your gray motor should be a Model "R" 1913 the same as this 1913 catalog illustrations. The original coils are rare but most of the old vibrating coils with a 6 volt battery will run the engine. A good grade of gasolione mixed 40:1 ratio with a 30 W non detergent motor oil ( 3.2 ounces oil to a gallon of gasoline ) is the old standard that should work well. In the store at the top of this page is a very good book on basics and running these old two strokes-- Palmer Gas Engines Handbook By Richard Day. if you have photos email to me i'll post them here. * |
